From Ciara – A servant of a human master works FOR his master. But God works THROUGH His servants. He accomplishes His works through His servants. God wants us to know that to know God you need to obey Him and learn by experience. Dear Lord, would you please help me to obey you more and learn by experiences and so you can accomplish your work through me. And when we find out where you are and what you are doing we know that is where we need to be, with you. -Amen
The main point that stuck with me in today’s reading is that God can shape, stretch & mold me—if I let him. When I let go of my control over the areas I want to be molded, & instead let Him guide me through the process of complete change and reshaping, only then will I truly experience the fullness of God’s work in and through me. I think what I also need to work on is discerning when I need to let go and be adaptable and moldable in His hands. This definitely takes a lot of obedience and wisdom that only God provides.

I felt convicted by what my definition and perspective of what a servant is compared to the biblical concept of being God’s servant. Sometimes I think it’s easier to be simply told what to do, to have that blind disconnect so I don’t have to think. I miss out on God’s specific purposes, will, and also joy, when I simply rely on my own power to do rather than remaining in God’s hand to mold me and work through me. I am grateful God seeks out a relationship with me and does not merely assign me a task list. I pray that just as a cup is useless outside of its creator’s hands, I pray that I would actively seek the Lord to remain in Him to do His will rather than what I think I should be doing
A takeaway from today’s study is that it is important to focus on developing a deeper relationship with God before becoming His servant whom He accomplishes His work through. I think that we often feel compelled to be working on something because we live in a bustling society that rewards productivity and self-accomplishments. Thus, we end up succumbing to the misconception that we must constantly be working on something in order to serve and please God. Although it is good to indulge in work and ministry, we must remember to make time to sit down and get to know God on a deeper level so that we would be able to open our hearts to Him and give Him full obedience in order to become a fruitful servant of the Lord.
Father God, I pray that I may come to know You better and that I may develop a deeper and loving relationship with You as I continue to meditate upon Your Word. I pray that You shall make me moldable in Your hand so that You shall accomplish Your work through me. Lord, may You reveal Yourself through myself to a watching world as I commit to being Your servant. Amen.
Today was eye opening because often times when I hear about being the clay and letting God mold me I’ve never thought it could be a finished product until I died or until I got to heaven. It was interesting hearing how God can finish sculpting us but that doesn’t mean he is finished with us it means he can still use us for good by serving him still.
Dear God I pray that you Mold me that way you want me to be Lord and that I allow you total control in my life God. I pray God that even though I feel like I may be a finished product I pray I remain unsatisfied and that I have the hunger to serve you as long as I am on this Earth. In your heavenly name I pray amen

I think God is continuing to show me how I can trust Him and how I shouldnt be afraid of proclaiming my faith. He was there for Elijah, so He can be there for me.
