I’ve always thought discipleship was following God, not necessarily happiness in God. Following God could be difficult at times & sacrifices can bring sadness, but in here, following God is to be happy and delighted and satisfied in Him. What an ultimate goal as a Christian to be completely satisfied in Him and Him alone. As I devote more time to reading His word (bible in a year) and to turn my heart to Him daily, may it make my soul happy in God.
