- What motivates you to grow spiritually? What areas of dissatisfaction do you sense in your life right now? What’s your big “why” for wanting to apply the gospel to every part of your life?
- [Base on the that answer] What’s the real challange here fore you?
- Picture the “future you.” Describe your hopes and goals in as much detail as possible: “I want to be… I want to feel… I want to change…”
I am a Christian, a disciple of Christ but I do not know him. My prayer life sucks, I don’t have a deep intimate relationship with God. I am so dissatisfied with my spiritual life. I want a fruitful life. I want to submit to God and yield all my areas of my life to him. It will be a long process but i want to start small so it becomes a good habit for me. My hope is for God to use me more and my life would be effective for his Kingdom. My goal is to focus more in heavenly things and not earthly things. My goal is also to have a deep prayer life and have a desire to be closer to God
Having that high desire to want to know God more and being surrounded by others who also want to know more about God motivates me to grow more spiritually. Right now I’m dissatisfied with my current performance in school. My big why for wanting to apply the gospel to every aspect of my life is to strive towards living a christ centered life and not a self serving one. The real challenge for me has been me wanting to find satisfaction in my own desires. In the future I hope to be successful and sustainable with a job and get into a desired college.
