1. My rooted group is basically my small group, because we do a lot of things together that a small group should do like going to Cru, evangelizing, going to church together, and just going through life with one another.
2. My group can join God’s mission of restoration by evangelizing more often whether it’s through Red Point or Cru. Tomorrow we will be setting up a booth for Cru at FVHS for Culture Fest and we will be taking the advantage of preaching the Gospel to students.
3. Committing to a small group where you are able to allow yourself to be fully known and fully loves can help us understand the love God has for us, and as I am getting closer with people that love God, I can also be closer to God as well.
4. Dear God, thank you for the small group you have provided to me. Please continue to give me wisdom, cohesion, and unity as I move forward and have fellowship with my small group. Help us to be honest and vulnerable to one another. Thank you, God. I pray all these things in Jesus Name, Amen.

I have not decided to continue with my Rooted group as small group or not, just haven’t put much thought into it, but maybe as a group we can check in on one another and I would be okay with that. My need is being met through my own accountability group and I have them to check in on me routinely. My small group can join in with God’s mission of restoration in the surrounding community by being active in the church and serving members of RP. My relationship with God was strengthened by this small group by hearing and seeing how God has moved each and everybody here and their story before and after Jesus came into their lives. I know my relationship will be strengthened and encouraged greatly from all the brothers here after this series simply how powerful our God and how He doesn’t let us down. Thank you Lord Jesus for your wisdom and power to move us into action and change our lives into serving You. Pray that we would continue to live by Your word and teaching daily even when this challenge’s over, amen.

From Thao
1. I am blessed to get to know these ladies more through the rooted study. We all have differences, yet have similar visions and desires. I hope that we can continue to keep this open communication and bond even more after this study is over.

2. I hope that we continue to see needs in our community and partner up with each other to change the world, one person at a time!

3. God created us to be in community with others. As we spend time with God as a group, we can get a deeper sense of where God is working. When we do things as a group, there is more courage, fulfillment, and joy.

4. God, we know that regardless of how busy life can be, help us to remember that we are not alone…we have You and we have one another. May we continue to seek to Your words for wisdom and understanding. May we work as a team to continue to do Your work.

1) I am all for continuing with this Rooted group as a small group!😊 There are a few of us that already meet up on Saturday mornings, but I believe there is a plan to begin meeting up as a small group on Friday nights?
2) This group has already begun to join in with God’s mission of restoration in our surrounding community and beyond in various ways. We have been meeting up on Sunday mornings to visit and pray with the residents at Country Villa, a local assisted living facility. I know that individually, each of us here do what we can to extend God’s kingdom into our community, and I am excited to see how God will continue to use this group to reach out into the world as an extension of His love and grace😉
3) My relationship with God has already been strengthened immensely by being a part of this group as we have cared for each other and the world around us. The experience we have had and continue to have serving at Country Villa together has been a huge encouragement to me, and has deepened my love and desire for more of Him!
4) Heavenly Father, thank You for this Rooted group, and for the way that each person here has helped me to grow in Your Spirit through this experience! I pray that You would grant us wisdom, cohesion, and unity as we seek to move forward and continue to allow Your Spirit to work in and through us as Your people. Let our group be Your hands and feet that share Your love, and live out the gospel of hope and life in our community and the world that so desperately needs You!

I would hope this group would continue after rooted is over as we are good friends. Even so our group works pretty well together. We are also trying to expand our group with friends outside the church community. Dean has been trying to set up a new group that helps out the community and those in need by setting up volunteering events and just visiting smaller businesses. We hope that by doing this we can reach out to more people so that we may be able to help out more and even maybe host our own community event. Our relationship with God will be strengthened by getting closer to him through our care for each other and our world. Lord I pray that you give more wisdom so that I may learn more ways to help out the community and I pray that You unite my group even more so that we can help others.

I have an accountanbility group actually with john and dimitiri and that was been nice. I guess ways we can help each other is just telling each other our mission and how we can support one another. I feel like by letting each other in on the vision that God has been putting on our heart can make grower deeper bonds with one another, but also keep each other in life if we are straying away or if we need advice.

1) yes, we will continue to meet together in our current form after Rooted.
2) we can start by getting to know what people/communities/issues that are on the hearts of our small group members and see how the rest of us can rally around one or two of those
3) as a small group, my relationship to God will be richer because I can see how He speaks to them differently than my own interaction with Him. Through my small group I have support and accountability. Through my small group I have synergism that occurs when collectively we can be more impactful than the sum of our parts.
4) Father, I give you thanks for each brother and sister that you’ve surrounded me with in DLT. In Christ, they are closer to me in many ways more than my brothers through birth. I pray for unity, for increased transparency, trust and depth, and for a vision to spur one another to God-sized endeavors for the sake of your elect and Your name.”

“The early Church knew the value of walking through life together. They prayed daily for one another, served together, and encouraged one another.”

It has been a blessing to be part of the rooted group learning from you ladies. Being a part of the RP ladies group as well as the Wednesday young adult group and children’s ministry has helped in my spiritual growth. In the different small group, we provide opportunities to bring in friends to small group and to events.

Bring a part of different small groups has helped to see and apply Bible truths. And I learned about lot about God and how he works in others lives and learn more about myself through the sharing of each persons convictions in group discussions. Hopefully there will be more opportunities to reach and serve the community so they will know and experience God’s love for them.

Dear God, I am thankful for you know our needs and you bring different people into our lives to build us up. Forgive me for not genuinely investing into people lives. Give me wisdom, a listening heart, understanding of others situation and to better care for them and to continue to faithfully serve and be bold in sharing about your truth and love. In Jesus’s name. Amen.

It’s been really good to hear each person’s story through this series and seeing the various perspectives and better understanding people through what they’ve experienced. The small group I’m part of is helping my need for community. I think there’s definitely many opportunities in the community that our small group can help with but we need to plan that out and be committed to doing it. The small group not only helps me feel a sense of belonging but is also a source of encouragement when I hear people share what they learn and a place for support. Lord God thank you for community and the small group I’m part of. Please help us to challenge and encourage each other to know you and desire to come alongside you in your work Help our small group see different ways we can impact the community around us and be committed to caring for people.

1. Yes, I will continue the Rooted devotional challenge with Kimberly as our regular Bible study.
2. For me, just being part of a small group is not only a precious opportunity for personal growth and fellowship, but also a meaningful way to actively serve God’s mission of restoration by collectively impacting lives and sharing His love with others. By embracing compassion and commitment, our small group can be a beacon of hope and transformation in our community and beyond. We strive to be intentional in our actions, listening to the needs of others and responding with empathy and God’s love.
3. I believe that actively caring for others and serving the world are ways that I can strengthen my relationship with God and commit to my small group simultaneously.
4. Dear God, thank you for saving me from my sins and bringing light into my life. I kindly ask you to grant me your wisdom, cohesion, and unity as I move forward with my small group, that together we may serve and glorify you in all we do. Amen.
