{"id":225646,"date":"2025-09-12T04:04:00","date_gmt":"2025-09-12T11:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vayhub.us\/rdpt22\/?p=225646"},"modified":"2025-09-03T18:17:45","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T01:17:45","slug":"gea01-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vayhub.us\/rdpt22\/gea01-5","title":{"rendered":"GeA01-5: The Blueprint for a New Beginning"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"\">Colossians 1:15\u201320 (NIV84)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><sup>15<\/sup>He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. <sup>16<\/sup>For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. <sup>17<\/sup>He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. <sup>18<\/sup>And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. <sup>19<\/sup>For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, <sup>20<\/sup>and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We have seen that the Genesis blueprint reveals Christ as the agent of creation. But the Apostle Paul, writing to the church in Colossae, adds two more breathtaking dimensions to His role. He tells us that Christ is not only the means of creation, but He is also its goal and its glue. \u201cAll things have been created through him and <strong>for him<\/strong>,\u201d Paul writes. The entire universe, from the grandest galaxy to the smallest microbe, was made to find its ultimate purpose in Jesus. And then, as if that weren&#8217;t enough, Paul adds, \u201cIn him all things <strong>hold together<\/strong>.\u201d He is not a retired Creator; He is the active Sustainer. The very atoms of your body cohere from moment to moment only by His continuous, active will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">But there is a problem, and we know it in our bones. We look around at the world and at our own lives, and we see that things are not as they should be. The blueprint has been broken. The masterpiece has been vandalized by sin and death. This is where Paul delivers the final, glorious news. The one who is the agent, sustainer, and goal of creation has also become the agent of <strong>re-creation<\/strong>. Through the blood of His cross, Christ is working to &#8220;reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Think of it like this: the Divine Author\u2019s story was hijacked by rebellion. But instead of scrapping the whole project, He wrote Himself into the narrative as the hero who would defeat the villain and restore the original plot. The God who formed the first Adam from the dust of the earth would Himself be formed in a womb. The God who holds all things together would allow Himself to be broken. He is not merely fixing a problem; He is completing His original purpose. The same power that created the cosmos is now at work in you, healing, restoring, and making all things new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Reflect, Share &amp; Prayer:<\/strong> How does the truth that Christ is not only your Creator but also your Sustainer and Redeemer give you hope for a broken situation you are facing?
