Uzzah and Ahio, Abinadab\u2019s sons, were guiding the cart that carried the Ark of God. Ahio walked in front of the Ark. David and all the people of Israel were celebrating before the Lord, singing songs and playing all kinds of musical instruments\u2014lyres, harps, tambourines, castanets, and cymbals. But when they arrived at the threshing floor of Nacon, the oxen stumbled, and Uzzah reached out his hand and steadied the Ark of God. Then the LORD\u2019s anger was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him dead because of this. So Uzzah died right there beside the Ark of God.<\/em><\/p>\n<cite>2 Samuel 6:2\u20137 (NLT)<br>This letter from Uzzah to Joab might explain why he died<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Dear Commander Joab,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to inform you that preparations are underway to transport the Ark of God to Jerusalem. My brother Ahio and I are honored to be a part of this momentous occasion. We&#8217;ve been taking care of the Ark since our father Abinadab and eldest brother Eleazar passed away, so you can rest assured that it&#8217;s in capable hands. I dare say we know the Ark better than anyone else in Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I heard you were planning to send some men to assist us, but I assure you, there&#8217;s no need. Ahio and I have been around the Ark for as long as we can remember. Over the years, the Ark has become something of a family heirloom, a constant presence in our lives. We&#8217;ve grown quite accustomed to its divine aura, and I dare say, we&#8217;ve become experts in its handling. We&#8217;ve got this under control. We&#8217;ve even built a new cart to carry the Ark, and I can tell you, it&#8217;s a work of art. Sturdy, balanced, and designed to ensure a smooth journey. We&#8217;ve thought of everything, down to the last detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I understand the Ark&#8217;s significance, of course. It&#8217;s the throne of God, the heart of our nation. But let&#8217;s be honest, it&#8217;s been sitting in our home for years without any incident. We&#8217;ve become quite familiar with it, and I dare say, it&#8217;s become familiar with us. We&#8217;ve lived in its divine presence, and nothing unforeseen has ever happened. So, I don&#8217;t think we need to be overly cautious or formal about this. It&#8217;s not like we&#8217;re strangers to the Ark or to God&#8217;s presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I appreciate your offer to send a contingent of men to assist us, but rest assured, Ahio and I are more than capable. We&#8217;ve been around the Ark for so long that we know how to manage it as easily as one would handle a cart of grain. I&#8217;m confident that the journey to Jerusalem will be completed without any hitches, and the Ark will soon reside in its rightful place, blessing our great city and nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">So, rest easy, Commander.
