Confess your misplaced trust, and what that has done to your life. Pray for strength as you turn your faith to God and relinquish control.
I trust God with mainly everything. But I know there are somethings that I have to do myself because God has given everything to me to achieve what I want. I have to take the extra step and use what he has given me. I understand God has a plan and this is how he builds the character in me. This is all part of his plan. All the things I put my trust in him are always above and beyond when it comes to results. There are times when it is not what I am but I know there is a reasons for it that I cannot see just yet. I trust God has a plan when it comes to my finances. I just have to trust in him and he will deliver. I pray God helps me see more clearly on what his plan is and I trust him with everything.
From Cyndi
I have put my trust in God in all areas: family, job, health, marriage, finance. I’ve gained peace and joy and contentment. Although at times I do become worry and not trust in God especially during times of change, uncertainty, and unforeseen events, but thankful for Eric and God’s Word for reminding me of what God has done for me in the past and that brings me back to trusting in Him and knowing that everything will be okay because He always provided for me.
God I pray that I will continue to surrender everything to you. Continue to help me to live a life with contentment whether I have much or little and to give generously. I want to live a worry free lifestyle and to use my money and resources wisely for your kingdom.
1) As far as providing for the needs of me and my kids, I do think that God has brought me to a point of trusting fully in Him, as I have experienced the folly of trusting in myself or anything else😏 Though I do still experience worry from time to time, overall, I am always certain that God will provide, as He always has, one way or another. This doesn’t always mean that He will provide in the way I expect Him to, or think He should, but that He will provide in the way that is necessary and best for me and my family, (whatever that may look like.)
2) The results of this are freedom from constant worry, and, ultimately, a deeper faith in God as I experience His continued provision and care. Oftentimes, too, when God provides differently than I think He ought to, it results in my own eventual growth and conformity in character.
3) I think a more courageous trust in Him with my finances would perhaps be conveyed by somehow figuring out how to give more, despite the current limitations of my income.
4) Heavenly Father, I pray that I would continue to recognize my utter dependence upon You for all things, and trust more in Your provision. I confess that there are times that I worry, and pray that I would learn to “cast all my cares upon You,” for You have always cared for me. Give me strength, oh Lord, to put my faith in You alone and turn my will and my life over completely to Your care.
I think for me it’s definitely health. I think after having cacner and having the ability to do so much now I think God has taken care of me health wise. Financially as of right now God has blessed me with a great family thar they cover parts of my finances but they also let me learn how to take care of my own money. I think if I were to let God take care of my finances completely I wouldnmt worry as much about my money in the future and that I trust where the lord will lead me.
Trusting God in the unforeseeable future is not easy, but I’ve learned that as long as my plan aligns with His, everything will be fine. When Ai and I were getting married, I planned the entire wedding without her presence in the US. Moreover, we weren’t even sure if she would be granted a visa to come to the US. Despite the uncertainty, we put everything to the test, from Rose, our wedding coordinator, to the venues and vendors. Strangely, I didn’t have any doubts; instead, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace.
Similarly, when I applied for grad school, I chose to apply to only one school, a decision many considered risky. As I neared the end of my education, I prayed to God for an office close to home for my preceptorship and hoped the clinic would be open to offering me a position in the future. While it was precisely what I desired, I once again felt a sense of peace about it. Therefore, in matters of finance, I am encouraged to seek His way so that I can make decisions with courageous trust in Him. Father Lord, I have experienced goodness from trusting you with various aspects of life. Please help me to continue to trust, and forgive me when I misplace my trust, relying on my own strength
1. And 2. For the first time in my life, I’ve been able to trust in God for providing my needs in all areas of my life. This whole year was so hard for me to trust in God, but every single time, God has blessed me and my family by a mile financially, sprititually, and mentally as well.
3. To trust in God with my finances is to use it for His glory like participating in offering at church and giving it to the poor.
4. Dear God, Thank you for the marvelous things you have done in my life. This year has been a struggle and You have blessed so much so I pray that You would help me to keep trusting in You instead trusting in things that are temporary. Please continue to give me faith to trust what you say. I pray all these things in Jesus Name, Amen.

1) When it comes to providing for your needs, where are all the places you trust God (job, health, bank accounts, etc.)?
I actually am doing my double fisting on having faith and trust in god in everything in my life today. John, health, money, etc…
2) What are the results?
It’s very weird but I feel at ease and peaceful, even with not having a job right now, I embrace the opportunity to really get into my recovery, I’m not at all in a hurry to find a position, and I’m patient with the jobs that I applied for and it’s not that many.
3) What would it look like for you to courageously trust Him with your finances?
This is actually something I work on, to really manage my finances wisely, since I lost my job, I’ve been okay with what I have, I still am able to pay for my rent, pay for my bills, it’s tight but I’m
Not that stressed out .
4) Write a prayer to God turning over trust to Him. Confess your misplaced trust, and what that has done to your life. Pray for strength as you turn your faith to God and relinquish control.
Heavenly Father, I’ve been facing many changes and have continued to trust in you with all my strength. There was a time when I didn’t want to believe in you and wanted to worship you as my only god, it didn’t turn out good for me. I pray that with you and the Holy Spirit that lives inside of me and around me to give me strength so I can continue to trust in you. To continue to turn and surrender to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
As of recent I feel that I trust God mostly in my time with others. I feel that God has helped me be less scared to share his word around everyone, no matter their background.
I’m definitely still scared in the sector of trusting God with having complete control of my finances. I consider myself a giving person. I don’t like giving handouts to those I feel did not earn it or try hard. So I think compassion is connected heavily with this part in my life. I haven’t had much of it.
God I pray that you would continue to break me down. Allow me to see the value in giving and trusting you with my finances. Amen
The one place I trust God to meet my needs is my health. Because I have had God save me when I have been physically broken. I can courageously trust God with my finances because I believe in my connection with Him. I want to get to know Him better so that I can keep that hope alive in me. Dear God, I have never had a false trust, but it is clear to me that my life will be brighter if I trust in You. I trust that you help me to surrender my faith to You.
